Grilled Asparagus with Spicy Korean Chili Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large bundle about 2lbs of fresh asparagus – tough ends trimmed
  • Oil for coating

For the dressing:

  • 1.5 tbsp of Season with Spice’s Spicy Korean Chili Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lime juice, water, vinegar, toasted sesame oil, honey, and Spicy Korean Chili Seasoning. Taste and adjust if needed.
  • Lightly coat asparagus with oil. Grill the asparagus spears for 5-8 minutes (depending on the thickness), until nicely charred and just tender – turning them every couple of minutes to brown evenly.
  • Remove asparagus from grill and place in a serving dish. Pour half of the dressing over and lightly toss to coat. Top off with the remaining dressing.
