Salmon Sashimi Wonton Cups
You'll be amazed at how easy it is to make these salmon sashimi wonton cups. The sweet, tangy sauce and refreshing cucumber salad complement the delicious salmon beautifully.

- 30-36 wonton wrappers
- 9 oz of premium Salmon Sashimi try Fish for Sushi
- Plain cream cheese
- 2-3 avocadoes – sliced and soaked in lime juice for flavor and to prevent oxidization
- Season with Spice’s Japanese Seven Spice
- Season with Spice’s Spicy Korean Chili Seasoning
On the night before, thaw salmon sashimi per instructions in the video below from Fish for Sushi.
Preheat oven to 350F. Form wonton wrappers into the shape of cups and place into a mini muffin pan. Bake until crispy and lightly browned – about 8-10 minutes.
Slice thawed salmon thinly, and place one slice in each wonton cup. Sprinkle very lightly with Japanese Seven Spice in order to keep the flavors of the appetizer in balance.
Add a dollop of plain cream cheese into the cup, and sprinkle with Spicy Korean Chili Seasoning.
Finally, add a slice of avocado into each cup right before serving.
