Summer Berries Parfait

These delicious and healthy summer berries parfaits are the perfect way to enjoy the bounty of fresh berries this season!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mixed berries blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 cup toasted mixed nuts walnuts, cashews, pecans or almonds
  • 1/4 tsp of Season with Spice's ground Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of Season with Spice's ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, lightly toss the berries with maple syrup or honey, and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, crush the mixed nuts with a food processor or mortar & pestle, and then mix with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Combine the Greek yogurt with vanilla extract.
  • In serving glasses, add the Greek yogurt on bottom, then the berries, and finally sprinkle the nuts on top. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.
